OT- Source for 1/4 stainless steel sheet?

I have a project coming up and need to find a source in the Atlanta Georgia area for 1/4 inch 304 stainless steel.

Currently I am getting quoted for a 1/4 x 4 x 8 at $1000.00

This seems high to me, but it's been a long time, decades really, since I've purchased the like.

Anybody know of any better pricing?
