Since your using the SBC BH, I assume your also using a GM, NV-4500 ? You are correct, the SBC BH for the SM-465, will not bolt up to a GM, NV-4500, 1993 model year with the Granny 1st Gear.

I am presently completing a Cummins/GM NV-4500 in my Bumblebee. I used a Bell Housing from a 1993 Chevy 1500, 2 wheel drive. In 1993, this combination was a special order from Chevy and was used behind the 4.3 liter Gas'er. This setup also will allow use of a stock GM/Cummins manual flywheel and the 454 gas'er clutch. You will have to make one small modification for the clutch slave cylinder. The slave cylinder is the stock unit from the Chevy 1500. You also need to grind down a rib a tad behind the throwout arm to get full throw. Email me and I can send you some pictures of the slave mounting I did.
