My first set of sockets were bought about 1972. They were Thorsen. I still have them. Never broke a socket but the ratchet took a dump somewhere along the road. I welded it so it wouldn't turn and use it for a breaker bar with a heavy pipe. Now Googling Thorsen I see they are guaranteed for life. I wonder if they would relace my ratchet that's been welded?
