It may be expensive to do, but so is the 8-10 mpg I get in my 6.7l 3500 C+C. I think a 4.5l ISB in a PW should get at least 25mpg for the driving I do. I'll keep the 6.7 for towing and drive the PW the rest of the time, and the fuel savings might make it a wash...
