Periodically print what trucks are selling for or have sold for. Try to find one caparable to yours. If you have a truck insured for x amount of dollars, your going to have to prove to your agent it's worth that amount. The agent has very little to use to judge the value of your truck. Only by printing out info on the selling price, or what a truck has sold for, will you be able to hold your agent/co. accountable to it's worth. VPW and ebay are good sources for this.
If you have your truck insured for x dollars, do not believe or assume you will be paid that amount - you have to prove your case!
