Took the pup for a walk around the block this morning. The 'belt' rode up to her ribs on the downhill section. I think that is what I expected.

I kept it simple, the shafts do triple duty- steer, brake, and pull- no traces. I don't see the need for separate traces.

Next time I'll go around the other way, gentler downhill but a steeper upgrade.

Maybe I just realized where I got the idea of draft training her. I don't know what kind of coat she will have, being 1/2 heeler and 1/2 poodle, but she is getting feathers near her feet- like the Clydesdales. Maybe that is what gave me the idea?

I figure I've got a month er two to get back to the thrift store for another littler bicycle. The 10" wheels will work as front wheels for a four-wheel wagon- that I can ride in.
