Yeah, but it can all be fixed by cutting back on fossil fuels, which by coincidence, we just happen to be running out of anyway, but with "climate change" we can pay the oil and coal companies (via taxes, subsidies, incentives, carbon credits, etc) to not pump and mine the fossil carbon that they know they don't have anyway. That's the kind of bipartisan consensus that you get when the corporate suits finally sit down with the environmentalist suits and realize that they can work together to screw over the regular people. The only fly in the ointment would be if we happen to have a series of extra cold years, like we recently had a series of extra warm ones. Then, even environmentalist might start to question at least the "global warming" version of climate change. The suits already have the answer ready, at least from the mumblings I hear from academia; they'll say that it was good to reduce oil and coal use anyway, whether or not it really had anything to do with climate change. Meanwhile, it'll be the Americans riding bicycles and the Chinese driving SUVs.
