To my surprise I recently found of series of old pictures of my '46 WDX on Joe's ImageEvent site. There are at least two different pictures from previous owners.
I bought the truck 3 years ago from Phil Dodge in Oregon. It has numerous distinguishing features including:
(1) the mount location of the turn signals
(2) shiny superwinch hubs on '46 budds
(3) non-original '48 MU2 winch with steel bar mounted underneath bumperettes
(4) wrinkled driver's side front fender maybe created by loose snow chains?
(5) recreated stake pockets on bed
(6) single vacuum wiper
(7) cab interior with original paint
(8) Tail gate is a reproduction
The picture above is titled "english46". The license plate is from Maryland. I assume the previous owner was named English?
Link below contains another picture of my truck. License plate is from New Jersey. Joe's picture is titled "Morison46". Any of you long time forum users recognize this picture? Are you the owner?
I'd really like to collect some more history of this great old Power Wagon. Any leads are greatly appreciated.
