This is interesting because the date stamped on the heater is the manufactured date NOT the install date. I have several NOS #61 and #62 heaters with the following dates: 6 Volt, 1945, 1951, 1953, 1954, and 12 volt model: 1958,1959,1963. Remember that a heater was an OPTION and almost ALL were installed at the dealership, along with radios, fog lights, cigar lighters (that is right the actual description is "CIGAR" lighter), and many more "options".

So if anyone wants to change the year of their truck just put in a heater?????

I DO NOT THINKS SO.......

I may be offering these for sale in the near future. I am still holding them as trade bait for a NOS heater duct distubution tube for my 1950 Plymouth Model #300 and #550 heater part #1240973, or a complete heater kit part #, and/or a vacuum operated antenna part #1302825.
