A very fine, reddish powder is clogging the in-line fuel filter and preventing gas from getting to the carb. This had not occurred before mixing a bottle of "lead" with unleaded gas. I drained the gas and blew compressed air through the fuel line. I poured the gas back using a rag as a strainer. These steps didn't help at all. The filter clogs very quickly, like in less than five miles.
Does anyone have any advice other than pulling the gas tank (a real bear) and having it flushed? I really want to avoid pulling the tank if there is an alternative.
