Does anyone know where I can find a Return Spring for the door handle/latch for an M-37?
I've tried VPM, Vermont Commercial Salvage, Trader John's, Adirondack Dodge, Memphis Equipment, Army Surplus Warehouse, and will be trying Ace Surplus tomorrow.
Thus far no one has any or knows where I can get them.
They are basically a small flat coil of spring steel with 2 flats to fit into the assembly to push out door latch and hold up outside door handle. Probably a 10 cent item that's causing me a lot of grief. I assume the PW's use the same springs.
If anyone knows where I can find these springs, please let me know.
