Using my 64'WM300 dipstick and assuming the dust cap on the dipstick bottoms on the dipstk tube,these are the measurments I get.From the tip to the ADD line,2".From ADD line to FULL line,11/16".This leaves aprox. 16&9/16" to inside of dust cap. So I assume it is 16& 9/16" from the top of the tube down to the full oil level + or - 1/8".Hopefully this should get you close enough to be safe.I would assume though,that you would just fill the engine with the requied amount of oil, use a rod or old dipstick till it bottoms in the pan then mark the rod at the top of the tube then measure from there to the oil mark.Then you could just mod.the old dipstick to work.
