If your carb is ok, and all ignition parts appear ok, try replacing the coil. I was having this problem, talked to my PhD advisor (who worked his way through school at a garage specializing in Chryslers in the early 60's)and an old army mechanic and they both came up with the same answer. My M37 starts great now.
