You either have exra steel added to your truck or you have never had it weighed on state certified scales.Those junkyard or gravelpit scales cannot be trusted to be anywhere close.My stock 64'WM300 weighed in on state certified scales at 4280lbs. and that was minus winch and bed.When I say state certified scales,I'm referring to the ones truckers go to and have their loads weighed before going out of state.They get a certified statement documenting the weight of their load in case of out of state trouble about their loads.I know the winch and bed combined could'nt possibly weigh 1500lbs.!
