Some states(Arkansas for one) will not recognize Alabama registration, will still require a bond. This is due to the fact that so many cars that can never legally be titled due to theft or salvage have used Alabama to receive a registration.
I have in past bonded a car in Minnesota, is relatively easy and after three years is a totally clear title.
