Thanks to all the responses, I looked closely at the hand written spec sheet,
and it does say quad-cab even though I told the salesman that I wanted a crew cab.
I did not know they are not available as a full size four door.
As another post mentions, I will compare, but I lean toward the Dodge trucks.
I did want a full rear seat, as I have a 77 crew cab duallie, and I use ever inch of it. The
rebuilt 454 just gobbles the gas with the 4:10's. I tack 3050 at 60MPH.
Fortunately, my truck runs well so I am not at the dealers mercy.
Again, I appreciate the info and will keep investigating.
