My friend John and I were waiting for this train to go by and counted 42 cars of scrap metal; vehicles,old appliances,anything. I had never seen that before and called a friend who works at CN. (Canadian National Railway) He said that is going on all the time now. It all goes out to the deep sea port at Prince Rupert,BC and goes to China, MEGA-TONS of it. Not that my opinion is worth anything, but that's exactly what the Japs were doing before Pearl Harbour.
