I have a Holley 2bl TBI kit on my 85 Crew Cab 4x4, I took a while to get it running right. It has a MSD system too, its a easy way to increase MPG. I don't run the truck hardly at all, the problem I am having is the holley electric fuel pump goes bad from sitting. I ended up switching to a in tank pump and tank from a ford. If I was trying to max out the millage on it I would opt for a holley 2bl. and use a 4bl to 2 adapter plate and msd.
I'll take some pictures over the weekend.
PS- make sure all the vacuum lines are correct esp the one to the vacuum advance at the distributor, that will kill millage. Could of come loose or leaked after the rebuild.
