That is a good point.
I live near the Ches. Bay here with lots of boats around.
I had a friend with a bigger Pacemaker boat, with twin Chrysler engines.
He was having severe problems similar to what Dave described.
After a lot of money spent with the mechanics, they found that when he "opened up" the engines, the suction drew the rubber hoses closed. The hoses were older but did not look bad on the outside.
