a couple years ago a few of us local guys would get together at the local diner for lunch>usually we were quite a boasterous bunch, laughing joking and sharing storys, of the weeks events in the trucking bussines>Barney was complaining about a accident, that one of his drivers had>Duffy was still trying to inflate his new tube less michelin tires all week,with no luck>I was struggling with a mack triple counter shaft transmission that refused to come out,and wasnt to impressed with wasting 4 days trying to get it on the floor>poor Whibly just got turned down at the bank for a loan on a new truck>to say we were a unhappy bunch was a understatement>then along comes are usuall waitres a cheerfull blonde,named Margret>she comments "my what bunch of grim faces at this table" Whibley with out taking his eyes of his glass of water ,pipes up and says "Margret ever since Elvis died the whole world has gone to hell" J
