The Verizon company (my old employer) is cleaning out a bunch of old vehicle storage yards in Brooklyn and the Bronx. I am on a mailing list that offers surplus sales to current and former employees before the stuff goes to the general public for scrapping.
The lastest notification (see link) states that there are quantity (8) Dodge W500 line trucks, dating from the late 1960's. The condition varies, and some have been cannabalized for parts. The trucks all came originally with over-sized winches and utility bodies.
