I use 10w40 valvoline. You may still be able to find an old school Napa1011 or Wix 51011 oil filter. If you have an older parts store you might get lucky if they have inventory on the shelf from a few years back. Some have indicated that they successfully stuffed a new style filter into their housings. I could not get the new style filter to fit in my housing which made me think filters got packaged in the wrong boxes which started my investigation as to whats going on.
