Dana 44 front end

While going through my "new" small knuckle 44 I found some needle bearings in with the grease around the axle. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with my current axle shafts, so I'm guessing they are left over from an earlier problem. There was some scoring on the inside of the housing, but it polished up pretty well. I don't think there will be an issue as far as clearance. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Norm any comments?
