Interesting thought but you are on private (not public) property.
Gambling establishments can control what goes on in thier "properties" because they're private, not public.
I know a well known warehouse type store that has someone at the door to check your purchases out as well as a other mega stores but I'm sure that it's more to deter theft.
Remember, shoplifting costs us.
So I say to remember they're doing it for you/us too.
