Here are a few random thoughts:

I have been in communication, over the last few years, with the Warn company. They have no intention to re-introduce their lines of hubs. They also said that they would not under any circumstance, license or otherwise allow their (obsolete) design(s) to be copied.

When I designed and introduced the Selectro model 11167-01 hub for the Rockwell military application, the R&D costs were in the $5,000 range, and that was with an established design that just needed to be tweaked. The payback took three years, and that was selling a product that was much more in demand, owing to the fact that there was no alternative product.

There are two viable alternative, competing, hubs for the T137 (et al) application. There is the Superwinch, made by AVM in Brazil, which cost around $75, and which are worth every penny, and the much more robust Selectro model 11102-01, that costs three times as much, and is made in the USA.

Good luck in your endeavor. I'll take 24 pairs of hubs for the W500, if you make them. I have customers waiting for them.
