We are between ice ages and overdue for the next.
The swiftness with which an ice age can develop is terrifying.
If I remember correctly from the mud core sampling that was done in the 70's (when scientists were predicting global cooling) It took only about 100 years from the onset of the last ice age until Northern Europe was covered in several hundred feet of ice.
Looks like we are the ones who might do to the Mexicans what they are currently doing to us.
Revenge is indeed a dish best served "cold".
