John: the frama and running gear have been completely overhauled already by me. The cab has been off and the floors and sills have repaired on a known flat layout table as well. The front drivers corner looks a little high ( about 3/4") as measured by the frame dimensions. I'm hoping the shop will just bring the front rail down to the correct dimension. The cab fits really good except for the low front left corner mount. The winch mount and bumpers look good as well. The rear frame from the cab back is good within 1/8" diagonal and height. I just thought it might be easier for them to attach the pullers and chains on a cab less frame. I understand the dilema about the front axle geometry but since all is new in it and the toe in is correct right now, I'll have to monitor the tire wear when that day comes. The advantage of having a solid front axle means minor frame alignment issues should be mitigated as long as the axle tracks true correct?
