The FFPW is rate at 9500 GVW, so depending on the weight of your truck the amount of payload you can carry will vary. My truck will carry a 3,980 pound payload. I've had 550 square feet of sod on the truck and was told by the company where I bough it that it weighed around 3200 pounds, but I think it was more. I could definitely tell I had a load, a drive about 35 mph. I don’t recommend anyone exceed the GVW for accident liability reasons. If you don’t have a full floating axel, I would be even more cautious about overloading an axle.
