George the motor was $5300 a complete drop in im trying to remember the exact size i think it was a 549?dont quote on that>The price to change out the motor ,some parts like oil and filters antifreeze ect, totaled 1700$ with tax. When the motor blew it was out of town .The truck was towed to the I H dealer since they "held the warranty"on the new engine and they were a "authurized dealer". I can only imagine, that heres a truck that belongs to a big fleet this fleet is sending out that kind of work !!!!!!!!the :manger of sevice is at his door >Saying not nice things about me and filling out a credit app on the company for there account it happens . My main issue here is Central Precision Limited had such a poor reputation i would never sell their engines to my customers>I told Frank the owner of the company i would not install a CPL engine > Who is he to believe now when its at the dealer and hes filling out a CPL warranty claim !! the I H people substituted a CPL insted of one of there own rebuilds>They also charged the difference of 1300 $ more of the I H motor on the CPL rebuild a little parts swictheroo
