Its one of those things that comes with experience, & easy to do but hard to explain> Backlash is easy,, its the preload that can be tricky. Sometimes bearings or cups don`t seat completely & things change. That is the first thing to be sure of. I have never done one of those diffs,, Someone will know if they are "hunting" or "non hunting" units,, I suspect non hunting but that is important,, It you don`t have help on the first one I would suggest letting a dealer do it for you.
