Biodiesel lowers the regeneration temperature of those filters. It also extends the period between filter regeneration since there is less particulate matter to begin with.
Those filters are really expensive, though-a big reason why the 07 diesels are so expensive. My hope is they get cheaper when they start cranking them out in greater numbers.
