I want to make a suggestion to anyone that buys a remanufactured head for ANY vehicle. MAGNIFLUX IT WHEN YOU PICK IT UP FROM YOUR SUPPLIER.

A couple years ago I had a cracked head on my daily driver. Went to NAPA to get a remaned head. It was Thanksgiving eve and I wanted to change it myself over my Vacation. Got it home and cut the plastic in the middle and you could VISIBLY see a crack! I was VERY pissed and went directly back. Got the manager and told him about it and he said no way. He then looked at it and said lets magniflux it. Sure enough it WAS a crack and he got on the phone.
I was in the office while he called and supplier INSTNTLY started saying it was my fault as I must have "installed it wrong." Manager finally broke in telling the guy "He never even got it out of your F*%&#^@ shrink wrap!"
Long story Short Napa manager overnighted another one, magnifluxed it and CAME IN Thanksgiving morning so I could get my part. He made it right and I still go there to this day.
This wasn't a small shop that remaned the head. It was a MAJOR supplier with multible outlets across the U.S. Since then I always magniflux BEFORE leaving the store. I thought this was an isolated thing till last week it happened again.
I'm relaying this because once you get it home and on your vehicle THEY WILL BLAME YOU. Makes me wonder how many bad heads have been installed on vehicles. NO reason this should EVER happen but wanted to pass this along. Cheap insurance to make sure your getting a good part. Kevin

John's below comments are very true.
