it was probably just the P brake chattering as you tried to stop. it isn't designed for smoothe stopping and probably has gear oil on one part of the lining. Put tcas in neutral, pu it 1st or second gear, gently apply P brake with button down so you can quickly release. I bet it does it but not as bad.
