Up here in Northern CA this has already started. In the Bay Area (Silicon Valley) you have not been able to put a wood burner in new or remodel construction for about 4-5 years now.
I'm up in the Sierra Nevada foothills above Sacramento - And Sacramento just instituted no burn days if the wind is slack and conditions are stagnant - This year they just warn, next year they will fine.
This from the state that want's to be able to remotely regulate when and how much you can heat or cool your home or business. Think maybe Al Gore has a stake in alternate heating businesses?
It'll all come down to guns and ammo at some point at the rate we are going. Not a very representative gove't any more.
