It is recommended by the manufactures never to reuse U Bolts. The deep nuts when torqued, distort the thread. Look on my Image Event at the U Bolt Album. Dayton has a nice set of pages with all you ever wanted to know about U Bolts. I buy my U Bolts from a truck Spring shop, they custom bend them while I wait.
