If you use a roll-up, sectional, residential door, you can inexpensively add additional panels to a stock 7' door and keep the price lower, while increasing the door size.
It takes about 18" to 20" to make the radius of the door track at the top, so use all of that 12' and install a 10'+ door.
You never know when you'll need to put a motor home, trailer or truck with camper in there. I'd suggest two 10' wide doors in lieu of one 16' wide door, that's a pretty large door and a large opening to deal with rain/snow/wind, if you have to keep it open.
