I checked the diff housing and it does have a tag saying USE ONE DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER GASKET.However,in 6.2 Interchangeability paragraph D, it says "housings for M37 trucks are narrower than those for other trucks". Does this mean if I install the centered housing the wheel spacing won't be the same as the front? Say it ain't so! Do you sandblast the housing right down to the bare metal before you paint it Paul? And if so what is the best thing to clean the silica out. that's got to be critical. Hope you don't mind me asking you all this stuff. Did you make yourself a special jig to get your spring pad angle correct before welding them? Will the centered diff spring pads work or do I have to cut the ones off the M diff?
