When I worked in a classic car business, the optima were a frequent site. All but one that I remember needed to be replaced. wouldn't take charges, go dead from sitting. I have always been totally unimpressed with them. I go to the interstate warehouse and by HD blems for 26 bucks in any size or config I want. current one is 2 years old. last one in a personal rig was 9 years old when i sold it. I think the optima would be fine in a daily driver but is way over rated and over priced
