Thanks, I will look up the details in my manual. FYI All Chrysler, dodge, Plymouth, Desoto flathead engines have hardened valve seats from 1933 onward. maybe not in inudustrial engines but for sure in car and truck apps. Ttoo bad the dlant 6 never did. They just flame hardened the casting. The valves eventually sink into the head. Although we know that does take a while to happen with an SL6. ;/)
