I don't like it for an open end wrench. If you use extra torque on the open end I can see the wrench slipping and rounding off the nut or bolt. It might work on the box end depending on how tight the nut or bolt. I would use a socket with breaker bar or ratchet as my first choice. If no room for the socket then a box wrench would be my choice. More torque then I would use the pipe. I would even go to welding a bar to a wrench if needed. Your wrench might work but it would be for a special circumstance and I can't see spending money on it. Sorry, maybe it will be attractive to some. I admire your creativity though.
