I've been using PayPal for a while, never had a problem. It seems to be the standard for online transactions.
I like the fact that you can send and receive small amounts of money, quickly. I tend to leave funds into the PayPal Money Market when the interest rate is good. They are currently paying 3.76%, which is better than a lot of savings accounts.
