a half ton would be easiest as the engine bay is longer and higher. i think moving the rad and boxing the cowl a little would be the ticket. if you could get an auto trans adapter - dennis sherman has them for the flatheads, you could mount the engine further back and possibly do a non divorced transfer. would be pretty slick. the floor and frame in the 1/2 ton is flat so moving stuff around and back is easier then the 3/4 tons and ffpws.
