I took it out back in December but haven't done it since. I'm out of town right now. I'd like to try again when I get back, but when I left Friday things were pretty close to a state of emergency as far as snow. I need to get the roof of my building shoveled off (7500 sq ft times 50 lbs/sq ft equals 375000 lbs). There was about 5 feet on open level ground when I left. Anybody who has any rig that can move snow, especially front loaders and bobcats has all the work they can handle. There's no place to pile it in town, so we have to truck it outside of town and dump it. The streets are down to one lane, and I'm pretty sure some of the berms alongside the streets have cars inside them. I tried to move both Tuckers just to get them up on top of the snow last week. The one I bought from you wouldn't start (something simple, no doubt, but I didn't mess with it). The one I bought from Jonas started fine but when I tried to break it loose, I blew out a U-joint, and possibly more. The snow is half way up the cab doors, so I don't really feel like digging it out to fix it now. At least I now know not to push it so hard with the other one. The trouble, of course, is that we had lots of alternating rain and snow and there's a thick layer of hard-frozen slush under all this snow, which is a tough thing for any tracked vehicle. When I do get it going, all, I'm going to be able to do is drive up the Moon Pass road a ways. I'm sure the road to my cabin is completely drifted over. Without a blade on the front, I can't risk driving across a steep hillside and rolling the machine.
