One thing you can do is what street rodders do. You get a 90 degree bend of steel/stainless tubing and then just use straight rubber. In other words, you'll have a real short length from the thermastat to the bend and a longer one from there to the radiator and 4 hose clamps. All depends on how tight it is but it does make a system that will not collapse. Kevin
