Lock-Right Install

The Lock-Right install went well this weekend. We succesfully completed the installation for Joel's truck. We got halfway through installing a unit for one of my trucks. It needs new side bearings and races before we can finish it up. The "Royal Wrench" worked great for removing the carrier caps after we got the pins out. Setting the backlash was a long process but came out fine in the end.

Joel and I installed the differential with the locker in his truck today, and it is a definite improvement in performance. I can't wait to get the side bearings and finish installing the locker for the WM300. Will definitely be putting a locker in Wendel next.

Thanks to Dave Royal, who came all the way from KY to help. The Hackensaw Boys were terrific! Detailed photos and descriptions to come on my website as soon as possible.
