Front axle question

When i was dis assembeling my truck, I noticed that the front axle had bearings on the bottom of the steering knuckle and solid brass bushings on the top. The donor axle was missing everything.

Would it hurt to put bearings on all four pins to assist steering, or should the top side only have the bushings?
