It's kind of a weird ad. The description sounds like he's selling one particular truck, but the pictures are of at least three different ones, one green regular cab, one green "crew cab", and one tan regular cab.
Personally, I don't see the point of these at all. I think they're a waste of a good truck. An M35 or M54 is a great heavy-duty rough terrain cargo truck. The only point I can see of having a chopped one is to drive it around just for fun. It's going to suck just about as much fuel as an unchopped one (6-8 mpg) and be almost as hard to maneuver in tight quarters, but have vastly inferior cargo capacity. I don't get it. But, for now the raw trucks are still reasonably cheap, even from GL. 50 years from now people will be shaking their heads at how they got chopped up the way we look at what people did to WWII trucks back when they were only $100 at the surplus yards.
