Dragging did not work, nor did copy/paste.
I wondered if there was some sort of corruption of data or something, so I removed the program from my computer and reinstalled it. That also did not help.
I tried the program mentioned that came with the computer, Nero, but found it "user non- friendly" for what I wanted to do. It seemed to be set up primarily for videos and music.
Finally I just sent the photos over the internet.
