Besides, I don't believe there ever was one for the 4x4 front spindles. And anyways, they only gave a rough pre-set, ready for final adjustment to the drums.

Assemble the brakes, leaving them loose enough to put the drums on. Then install drums and either bolted on as per OE, or use lug nuts. Adjust the brake shoes through the little slot on the wheel side. It is also more convenient to bleed the brakes at this point, without the wheels on. Just bend in from the outside and see what comes out of the bleeders.
