Tom P. on this one. All of those that I have done have used at least 2-3 shims, which also act as gaskets. I never had to use a sealer such as RTV or "Blue Goo" because the shims worked real well. I believe there are a variety of thickness out there. it also depeds on how much you will use the PTO?
